Magicians Mort and Donna, I just wanted to to tell you how much we all enjoyed Pearce's birthday party. You were great and so sweet with the children! Thanks for helping to create some wonderful memories for us. I
think Miss Scarlett, your new chicken, is a born star, and, of course, so is Lucky, your rabbit. As we attend quite a few Birmingham, Alabama, birthday parties and you entertain at so many, I am sure we will be seeing you again soon.
Once a year, each child celebrates his or her birthday, and parents are given the opportunity of filling that momentous day with enough joy to produce a lifetime of priceless memories.
In Birmingham, Alabama, birthday parties by Mort and Donna are difficult to top. Why? The answer is simple . . . as professional magicians, they are there every step of the way making sure birthday parties not only meet, but exceed all expectations.
Prior to each birthday party, Mort and Donna provide a detailed party plan, which simplifies the entire process. The contents of this party plan include an itinerary, poem for the invitations, and wealth of information on making the party the best it can be.
Around thirty-minutes before the party begins, Mort and Donna arrive to unpack their equipment, which includes a backdrop measuring eight-feet wide by seven-feet tall. A small portable wireless microphone system is also used to ensure optimal sound quality. The magic show requires a minimum indoor floor space extending ten-feet from a wall and twelve-feet side to side.
Unlike other magicians, Mort and Donna limit themselves to one booking per day, so each client is guaranteed individualized attention. The typical birthday party lasts two hours, and Mort and Donna are there thru the duration offering planned activities to keep everyone entertained.
Each magic show alternates between talking routines and musical routines. The birthday celebrant comes forward and assists with an age-appropriate piece of magic. Before going back to his or her seat, the birthday celebrant is given several presentation items to commemorate the occasion.
Following the magic show and refreshments, Mort and Donna bring out Lucky, the rabbit, and Scarlett, the chicken, for everyone to meet and pet. This makes for a wonderful photographic opportunity.
